Website maintenance and care
A website is not a thing you finish. It's a thing you keep. Care is the part of the plan that runs after launch — updates, monitoring, search, and a report each month that tells you the truth in words you can read.
What goes wrong when nobody's tending it
Nothing dramatic. That is what makes it easy to miss.
The contact form quietly stops delivering, and you don’t find out until someone mentions they emailed twice. Hours drift out of date after a season change. A link to a supplier goes dead. The site slows down a little at a time. Google starts flagging things in a console nobody has logged into. Six months on, the site technically works and is doing none of its job.
None of these need an emergency. They need somebody who looks.
What's in the care plan
Every item here is included in the $150 monthly — there is no separate maintenance fee, because maintenance is most of the point.
Monthly updates. Copy changes, new photos, a service added, a price adjusted, seasonal hours. You email, it gets done. Not a ticket queue.
A yearly style overhaul. Once a year the design gets a real pass — not a rebuild, a refresh, so the site keeps up with the business rather than sitting still while it changes.
Downtime monitoring. If the site goes down, we find out before you do, and before a customer does.
Contact form checks. The form gets tested, because a silently broken form is the most expensive failure a small site can have.
Search Console, managed. Somebody actually reads it — crawl errors, coverage problems, the pages Google is having trouble with.
Google Business Profile, managed. Hours, services, photos, and the details that decide whether you show up in the map results. The groundwork behind local SEO for northern Minnesota businesses.
Backlink tracking. Who is linking to you, and whether anything has gone strange.
A plain-English health report, every month. What changed, what is working, what needs a decision from you. No dashboard you have to learn, no jargon.
Why this is monthly and not a one-time build
Because a site that isn’t tended goes stale in a year, and handing you a file and walking away is the cheapest thing a studio can do. The monthly keeps someone accountable for the site instead — and folds the build cost in, so there is no invoice at the end of it.
If you already have a website, we rebuild it and keep whatever is working: your domain, your photos, your ranking. Nothing is thrown away for the sake of it.
The terms, plainly
$150 a month, everything included. Three-month minimum, then cancel anytime. One free mockup before you enroll. You own the site code once the three-month minimum is paid in full. The full breakdown is on what a website costs.
