Who we are

Verdant Dev is an independent web studio in Northern Minnesota, run by Parker Watts. When this policy says "we," it means me. You can reach me any time at parkerwatts@verdantdev.net.

What we collect

The only place this site collects information from you is the contact form on the home page. The fields are: your name, your email, the kind of project, an ideal launch window, a rough budget, and a message. Only name and email are required; the rest are optional and yours to leave blank.

We don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party pixels. We don't fingerprint visitors or set marketing cookies of any kind.

How we use it

Your contact submission is delivered as an email to parkerwatts@verdantdev.net so we can write you back. That is the entire purpose. We don't store contact submissions in a database, share them with anyone, or use them for marketing.

Cookies

We set one technical cookie — a CSRF token (vd_csrf) — strictly to keep the contact form safe from cross-site request forgery. It carries no personal information and is not used for tracking. If, in the future, you log in to the client portal, a session cookie will be set for that purpose only.

Third parties

To run this site, a small number of services see request-level data such as your IP address, browser, and the page you visited:

• Render — hosts the site and processes incoming requests.
• Resend — delivers contact-form submissions from the server to our inbox.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site; loading any page makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties beyond the operational uses above.

How long we keep things

Email correspondence we exchange — including your contact submission, once it lands in our inbox — is kept for as long as it is useful for our conversation, then removed when no longer needed. Server logs containing IP addresses are kept for short windows for troubleshooting and abuse prevention, then rotated out.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted. Email parkerwatts@verdantdev.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any material way, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where possible, note the change visibly to visitors.
