Link your own pages to each other

When you mention a service you offer, link to the page about it. These internal links help visitors find their way and help search engines understand which of your pages matter and how they connect. It’s the cheapest, most overlooked SEO move there is.

The move

Find one place on your homepage where you mention a service, and link the words to that service's page.

Do it step by step

  1. Open your homepage and read through it.
  2. Find a spot where you mention a service by name.
  3. In your editor, highlight those words.
  4. Click the link button and paste that service's page URL.
  5. Make the service name itself the clickable words — never "click here."
  6. Save, then check the link actually works.
  7. Repeat anywhere you name a service you have a page for.
